Valley resident new BATC president

An Afton woman was elected to serve as President of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities.
Pamela Belz was elected BATC President on Jan. 9 and will serve in this position over the next year.
Belz has working in the housing industry since 1987 and has worked as a project manager developing neighborhoods, private companies and lobbying fro the Builders Association of Minnesota. She has also served the BATC  as the chair of the Public Policy Committee, Chair of Professional Women in Building Council, and as the BATC’s treasurer and 2012 Vice President. She’s been an advocate for the BATC at the state capitol and in Washington, D.C. She also initiated the BATC’s independent expenditure fund, Housing First.
New leader at Bar Association ethics panel
