Corrine Claire Watson
Corrine Claire Watson, 61, of Stillwater, passed away on Jan. 7, 2013, after a tireless battle with cancer.
The funeral service is 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension at 215 N. Fourth St. in Stillwater. The Rev. Buff Grace will officiate. Burial follows the funeral at Oakland Cemetery in Marine on the St. Croix. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension. Bradshaw Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
Corrine is survived by her husband, Val; daughter Carly (Ed) Kohler; son, Luke (Georganne) Watson; son, Quinn (Kristin) Watson; son, Jake Watson, and grandchild Sasha Kohler.
Corrine was born Oct. 19, 1951, and raised in Hibbing, Minn. She graduated from Hibbing High School in 1970 and the University of Minnesota in 1974 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Corrine worked full-time from 1974 to 2007 as a Northwest Airlines flight attendant while raising her four children. Corrine also worked from 2007 to 2011 for the United Way of Washington County-East as the AFL-CIO labor liaison.
Corrine loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoyed traveling, running, cross-country skiing and shopping. She only slowed down to cheer on her four children in their many sports and activities over the years. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
