Harjes and Riley Cludy were the team’s lone all-conference recipients and among those honored during the team’s postseason awards banquet at Pizza Hut in Oak Park Heights on Dec. 5. Dan Pehrson received honorable mention all-conference recognition.

“We had a great evening,” Ponies coach Rob Hollerbach said.

Awards were presented to several individuals, including: Hannah Johnson (Rookie of the Year), Cali Capistrant (Most Improved Player), Brittany Benz (Most Cheerful Award), Sam Sundgaard (Welcome Back Award), Wesley Dahle and Devin Wildes (Forward Assist Award), Dan Pehrson (Defensive Player of the Year) and Cludy (Goalie of the Year).

Also announced at the banquet is that Pehrson and Harjes will serve as captains for the 2013 team. Hollerbach is hoping to increase participation numbers next season and interested players are reminded that registration begins in August for players in grades 7-12.
