Colleges — Former Stillwater captain and team MVP Andy Berg enjoys a strong start to his season hockey season at the Air Force Academy, where he receives the College Hockey America Offensive Player of the Week in early November. His 15 goals in 16 games ranks fourth in the nation among Division I players. Another former Ponies standout Adam Berkhoel ranks eighth in the nation with a .904 save percentage in goal for Denver University. One of Berkhoel’s two shutouts this season came at the expense of Berg and Air Force.
