Tuesday’s Stillwater City Council meeting has a much lighter agenda than two weeks ago.
A resident will discuss Lily Lake Arena improvements while council members will consider second readings and possible approvals of several ordinances.
The council considers three ordinances regarding construction of the new National Guard Armory. One measure establishes the proposed armory and central fire station site as an area in the city’s RB zoning districts, adds a fire house and armory as permitted structures in RB zones and possible approval of a title transfer for the new armory.
Also on the council agenda for second reading is an ordinance modifying TIF District 1. Another ordinance amending the city building code is also under council consideration.
The council will also consider appointments to the Stillwater Public Library Board and Planning Commission.
The council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at City Hall.
