Santa Claus encourages children attending Saturday’s Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at the Lowell Park gazebo to sing “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” following the annual Twinkle Parade. Santa told his audience that Rudolph could not join the tree-lighting event because he was guarding Santa’s sleigh in Pioneer Park but would shine his nose if the kids sang loud. The Twinkle Parade and Lowell Park tree-lighting is an annual event that begins the holiday season in downtown Stillwater
