County accepts gifts given to county in third quarter

The Washington County Board of Commissioners Tuesday accepted gifts from the public given during the third quarter of the year.

The gifts accepted were:

In support the 2012 Veterans Job Fair:

  •  Punch Pizza, Gift Certificate for door prize, $50;
  •  Cherry Berry Yogurt, 150 yogurt coupons for door prizes, $500;
  •  Hilton Garden Inn, two free stays for door prizes, $300;
  •  Walgreens, assorted door prizes, $75;
  •  Haberman Machine, event sponsor, $100;
  •  CorTrust Bank, event sponsor, $100;
  •  Rapid Press Printing, event sponsor, $100.

Gifts to the Historic Courthouse included:

  •  Rose Floral, gift certificate for the Talent Show door prizes, $20;
  •  Central Bank, coins for the Talent Show door prizes, $25;
  •  Famous Dave’s, sauces, etc., for the Talent Show door prizes, $35;
  •  Famous Dave’s, free Kids Meals for the Talent Show door prizes, $300;
  •  Stillwater Trolley, two rides for the Talent Show door prizes, $30;
  •  Camrose Hills, gift certificate for the Talent Show door prizes, $25;
  •  Pizza Man, gift certificate for the Talent Show door prizes, $40;
  •  Starbucks Coffee for the Talent Show door prizes, $10;
  •  Candyland, gift certificate for the Talent Show door prizes, $20;
  •  Valley Bookseller, gift certificate for the Talent Show door prizes, $20;

Gifts to the Sheriff’s Office included:
