Ceremony welcomes Janna’s Hides & Rides to city
Local business owners joined Janna’s Hides and Rides owner Janna Murray and her staff for an Oct. 17 ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming the store to Stillwater.
Janna’s Hides and Rides on North Main Street in offers consignment leather clothing and bicycle rentals. The store location is where the Brown’s Creek Trail is scheduled to be completed in 2013 and will accommodate the needs of folks who want to rent and ride the trail. Murray, a Stillwater native, wanted to be the first bicycle rental shop in town.
Murray’s cruiser bikes are designed for comfort, and she offers retro tandem bikes for rent. Options for riding range from the casual to the rigorous and Janna can suggest routes for all abilities. Visit the website for pricing on bike rentals.
The consignment leather part of the business is a way for people to make some extra money. Most folks have leather clothing they do not use — Janna’s accepts a wide variety of motorcycle clothing including Harley Davidson as well as purses, belts, career wear, vintage, fur and more. Visit the shop for a changing selection of great quality used leather wear. Gift certificates are also available.
