Family comforted by ‘wonderful community’

A few weeks ago our world was changed forever when we learned that our son, Ross, had died in an apartment fire in Eau Claire, Wis. Shock, disbelief and intense grief takes hold of a person in times like these, and so we are grateful to our friends and family who formed a wonderful cocoon around us and navigated us through the ensuing days.

We are also struck by how caring and close-knit our Stillwater community is. We would like to thank the Rivertown Inn, Luna Rossa, Applewood Hills Golf Course, Dontelli’s and the AmericInn, for their generosity during our time of need. We are lucky to have these businesses in our community.

A special thanks to the wonderful Stillwater Area High School music department, Ross’s home away from home in high school, for their special efforts to honor Ross.

We are comforted to know we live in such a wonderful community.
