Ruby gets a hug from a National Park Service ranger during a recent visit to Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Ruby and owner Pat Bettendorf were guests at the University of Pennsylvania Law School where Bettendorf gave a Power Point presentation about Ruby’s life during a school symposium on canine laws and breed-specific legislation. Bettendorf said the pair’s presentation went so well, he and Ruby have been invited to Baltimore early next year.
