A’salonna owners Ernie and Paula Shores were joined by family, staff and other local business owners for a Sept. 13 ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.

A’salonna was founded in 1976 and has been an exclusive Aveda Concept salon since 1991. Located in Stillwater, the salon offers a full line of beauty and wellness services including haircuts, colors, hair extensions, facials, waxing, eyelash extensions and more.

Previous owner and master stylist Mary Beth Johnson is still with the salon, servicing her many loyal clients. She was ready to move away from the responsibilities of ownership and mentioned this to her in-laws, Ernie and Paula Shores. The Shore’s daughter, Jessie, has been a stylist at the salon for three years and is married to Mary Beth’s son. Ernie and Paula officially became owners in early May.

A’salonna is located in the Grand Garage at 324 Main St. South in Stillwater. For more information, visit www.asalonna.com or call 651-439-5673.
