Athletes competed in a variety of events, including Western Equitation, Western Working Trail and Barrel Class.

The Trail Blazers racked up six gold medals, four silver medals and four bronze medals to go along with five fifth-place ribbons and four sixth-place ribbons.

Even when the Trail Blazers are not preparing for Special Olympics events, they continue working on their horsemanship as an adapted equestrian team. The team also currently has openings for interested additional riders.
