Lisa Jeanne Neaton (Nee Ertle)

Lisa Jeanne Neaton, nee Ertle, 43, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, after a two-year battle with cancer.

Lisa was born in Stillwater on June 25, 1969. She worked for 21 years at Anderson Windows, and worked at Target in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, for three years after moving to the Columbus. Ohio-area. She also worked as a Licking County, Ohio, election judge and for the U.S. Census Bureau.

Lisa was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, and she loved movies, music and her beloved dog, Bear. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna, Ohio, and a council member at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stillwater.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, John Patrick Ertle. Lisa is survived by her husband, Matthew Dennis Neaton; mother, Barbara Ann Ertle; siblings, Jeff (Kathy) Ertle, Jim Ertle, Scott (Sam) Ertle, Angi (Pete) Measner, Roxanne (Robert) Bueno, and Debbie (Mike) McKane; father- and mother-in-law, Dennis and Joan Neaton; sister-in-law, Christi Neaton; nieces and nephews, Tanya (Tony), Josh (Angel), Melinda (Ryan and Abbigail), Jacob, Theresa, Richard, Rachel, Chris, Michelle, and Mary, and many loving friends, neighbors, and caregivers.

Lisa’s family receives friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 609 Fifth St. South in Stillwater, where a celebration-of-life service begins at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Becker officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made in Lisa’s name to Hospice of Central Ohio or the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
