William H. Krog

William H. Krog, 62, passed away on Aug. 13, 2012, after a long illness.
William was born in Stillwater educated at Stillwater High School and the University of Minnesota. He was for many years a senior software engineer and analyst for Tickets.com. He also worked for the Phoenix Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra, The Ordway Theater and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Jorgenson; parents Harold Krog and Susan Bancroft Krog, and sister, Sarah Jane Krog. He is survived by sisters, Kathy (Larry) Carlson of Stillwater; Susan (John) Olbert of Sparta, Wis., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beloved by all as a kind man and true wit, William will be greatly missed.

    Shocked and saddened by the news of Bill’s death. We corresponded by facebook after he moved to Sedona but I had no idea he was ill. I am so sorry, Kathy and Susan! If you would share any details with me, I would greatly appreciate it. I still miss my sister Sue every day. I hope you and Larry are well and happy. Love, Mickie

    As I stated on Doug Lewer’s facebook page: I still see Bill walking the halls of SHS in his tall stately manner. I admired his confidence. Even though his amazing intellect could have separated him from others, his giving heart always reached out to those around him. I was one of those who received this gift and I will miss him.
