The Warner Nature Center presents a campfire program on “Screech Owls” at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 18, at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
Visitors will meet one Minnesota’s smallest owls in Minnesota and learn about their unique skills and abilities. This is a rare chance to see a very secretive owl.
The Wildlife Science Center presents “Raptors” at 7:15 p. m. Aug. 18, at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park. Visitor will experience the world of the raptor and take a comprehensive look at the remarkable range of adaptations and life histories displayed by these incredible predators. Get a close-up look at a bird of prey and see raptor artifacts during this presentation.
Lake Elmo Park Reserve is at the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road in Lake Elmo. The program is in the campground amphitheater.
St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park is along the St. Croix River on County Road 21, between County Road 76 and County Road 78, in Denmark Township. The program will be in the campground amphitheater.
