Richard A. Aubin

Richard A. Aubin, 67, of Hendersonville, Tenn., and formerly of Stillwater, passed away July 27, 2012, after a very brave battle with kidney cancer. Richard passed away peacefully at home, with his loved ones around him.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Fran Aubin; his loving children, Marne (Landon) Carter; son, Steve Krueger; twin daughters Tanya (Steve) Tulp and Kendra (Allen) Nord; son, Sean Anderson; special mother-in-law, friend and buddy, Granny Johnson; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Gloria) Aubin, Evelyn (Dave) Lewerer, Marie (Harold) Bruchu, John (Patti) Aubin, Pat (Denny) Stiegler; sister-in-law, Carol Aubin; brother-in-law, Larry Buberl, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Phyllis Aubin Sr., and birth-mother Evelyn LaBow Jensen; siblings, Joe Aubin Jr., Kathy Raboin, and Bobby Aubin; niece Laura Eaton, and nephew Mark Bruchu.
Richard, who graduated in 1963 from Stillwater High School, was a patriot who served his country for 28 years, first in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Sacramento, and then in the U.S. Army.
Richard enjoyed home projects, bowling, traveling, dining out, the University of Tennessee Volunteers, Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings, and especially spending precious time with family and friends.
Richard will be in our hearts and never forgotten.
A life-celebration service was held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Hendersonville, Tenn. Interment with full military honors followed the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
