Stillwater’s Summer Olson has been named the Kolliner Award winner for her achievements in the pool and the classroom.

Olson was a four-time Most Valuable Player for the Ponies, including the past three years in synchronized swimming for teams that placed second at state each year and also last fall as a member of Stillwater’s swimming and diving team that finished third at the Minnesota State High School League state meet and also captured its seventh True Team state championship in eight years.
A two time extended solo individual state champion, was an all-conference performer in both sports while also receiving all-state honors in synchro and All-American honors in speed swimming.

After helping the Stillwater cross country and track teams to state titles during his prep career, Tom Linner was presented the Kolliner Award.

Linner was a three-time All-SEC performer in cross country and a two-time honoree in track and field, where he also received all-state honors his junior and senior seasons. He was chosen MVP of the cross country team each of the past two seasons and earned the same honor from the track team this spring, in addition to the Ern Peaslee Scholarship and the McLaughlin Scholarship.
He also lettered in Nordic skiing during his prep career, but the highlights revolved around track (2011) and cross country (2011) while helping the Ponies to state championships in both sports. Linner is also a member of the National Honor Society.
