Inaugural Stillwater Log Run slated for Saturday

The inaugural Stillwater Log Run is set for Saturday morning, providing similar courses as those used for the traditional Lumberjack Days road races that were previously held on this weekend each year.

The 10-mile and 5-kilometer races will finish in Lowell Park along the river in downtown Stillwater. The 10-mile race will begin at Square Lake Park and the 5K will start near the Boom Site on Hwy. 95. There will also be a kids run.

Runners can still register for any of the races on Friday and early Saturday morning at the Freight House. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place from 5:45-7 a.m. on Saturday morning. Registration fees are $50 for the 10-mile race and $35 for the 5K. The kids race costs $15.

Buses will depart from the Freight House with runners for the 10-mile and 5K races starting on Saturday at 6:15 a.m. The last bus will leave at 7:15 a.m.
