DENVER – Jean Mary Corrigan, 89, of Denver, passed away quietly at her home surrounded by her family.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Joseph "Clink" Corrigan; father and mother, Matt and Alva Hooley; sister, Dorothy, and Robert Thueson.
Jean is survived by daughter, Susan (Rick) Campbell; sons, Joe (Debbie) Matt (Cathy), Tom, John and Mark (Jennifer); 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie, brothers Jack (Joyce), Charles (Nancy) and Thomas Hooley, and many nieces and nephews.
Jean graduated from Stillwater High School in 1940 and St. Theresa’s College in Winona, Minn. Jean and Clink raised their six children in Denver. Jean was a homemaker and enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful laugh. She was a wonderful mother, enjoyed her children and loved her grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, June 26, 2012, during the day and concluding with the rosary at 7 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3020 Federal Way in Denver. A funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Denver.
