Stillwater’s North Hill Community Garden to hold build day May 12

15 garden plots still for sale

Stillwater’s North Hill Community Garden, the first of its kind in the city, is holding its second "build day" at 9a.m. on Saturday. The group will finish building the 40 raised garden beds on the site, located on the corner of Aspen and North Martha streets. Fifteen plots are still available and range from $40-$80 for the season

All are welcome to attend the build day, and anyone may purchase a garden plot on Saturday. Availability is on a first come, first served basis. Remaining plots include: nine 9’x9′ plots, two 4’x9′ plots, and four 3’x9′ plots.

The Stillwater City Council approved the garden May 1. The Friends of Stillwater Parks helped make the garden possible with a $4,000 donation.
