K-Sun Corp. green machine(r) label printer system receives NED award

SOMERSET, Wis. – K-Sun Corporation’s new Green Machine(r) label printer system has won a Bronze Award in the Packaging Equipment and Supplies Category in "New Equipment Digest’s" first-ever King Awards Competition.

In May , Bruce Boe, director of marketing services for Penton Manufacturing and Supply Chain Group, "New Equipment Digest’s" parent company, presented the award to Andrew Kasun, distribution manager for K-Sun.

"We are pleased that the K-Sun Green Machine was selected for an award in this new competition," said Kasun. "It means a lot to us that readers of ‘New Equipment Digest’ elected the Green Machine for its advanced technology and eco-friendly design."

The King Awards was launched this year to recognize industry’s best new products that were introduced in 2010 and 2011. It is named for NED’s long-time Chief Editor Bob King.

The K-Sun Green Machine(r) was selected from five finalists in the Packaging Equipment and Supplies category and a total of 80 products in 11 categories. The Green Machine(r) was featured on and in the April edition of "New Equipment Digest" magazine.
