Oak Park Heights seeks Planning Commission member

City officials are seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the city’s five-member Planning Commission.

The Planning Commission is the City’s planning agency and conducts public hearings on matters affecting zoning, subdivision and building regulations, land use development and comprehensive planning. Commission terms are three years and from June to May. Other matters are occasionally referred to the Planning Commission by the City Council.

The Commission typically meets at 7 p.m. on either the second or third Thursday of each month and periodically holds workshops or other special meetings.
