OAK PARK HEIGHTS – The Stillwater girls’ lacrosse team honored five as part of Wednesday’s Senior Night, but far more players contributed to the 22-2 Suburban East Conference victory over Forest Lake at Pony Stadium.
Ten different players collected at least one goal for Stillwater (6-1 SEC, 8-2), which won its fifth consecutive game to remain in a three-way tie for the conference lead with Cretin-Derham Hall (7-1, 8-3) and Roseville (7-1, 9-2).
Stillwater has outscored its last five opponents by a combined 98-17.
Dana Almquist continued her torrid scoring pace while delivering eight goals for the third game in a row. Maggie Corman and Remi Larson scored three goals apiece while Jennifer Jorgensen added two. The Ponies also received a goal each from Kate Sheely, Erin Dougherty, Tessa Roush, Emma Wiessner, Nikki Schaberg and Sydney Evensen.
Almquist and Corman each finished with three assists.
