Things go better with Coca-Cola, especially in Washington County parks.
The Atlanta-based beverage giant saw its agreement to sell its products at reduced prices in all but one of the county’s parks renewed for two years by the Board of Commissioners Tuesday. The pact includes a marketing agreement with Coca-Cola.
The only county park not selling Coca-Cola products is Point Douglas Park, where the county has a sales contract with a different beverage distributor.
Sales volume at the county’s other parks was high enough for the county to qualify for reduced pricing on Coca-Cola beverages sold at the parks. The agreement calls for Coke products to be sold exclusively at county parks except Point Douglas. The Coca-Cola contract can be terminated at any time with a 30-day written notice.
