Andersen Corp. names Clark vice president of IT

BAYPORT – Andersen Corp. recently promoted Michael Clark to vice president of information technology in which Clark will oversee the strategic direction for the company’s 160-member department. He fills a role that has been open in the organization for the last two years.

"Mike has the strong strategic acumen and agility needed to take our IT organization to the next level," said Chief Financial Officer Phil Donaldson. "He is an inspiring leader with great energy, and he is especially adept at framing technical information to effectively communicate strategy in a clear and compelling way."

Clark will focus on providing overall leadership and strategic guidance to the IT team across Andersen’s multiple companies nationwide. The organization is focused on leveraging technology consolidation to enable investment in strategic supply chain and customer-facing solutions across Andersen’s diverse and growing business segments.

Clark joined Andersen in 1997 after spending four years with Ernst and Young LLP. During his 15-year career with Andersen Corp., he has served in many leadership roles across the IT organization, most recently as a director leading IT support for the divisions and customer-facing applications.

Clark earned his BSBA at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and his MBA at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Clark has held certifications as a certified public auditor, certified information systems auditor, Microsoft systems engineer and project management professional. He currently serves as board chair of FamilyMeans, a Minnesota human services non-profit organization.
